Yep. It's a bad deal.

The U.S. (right now), can decide to go the South Korea direction (ample testing, self quarantines, and protecting vulnerable populations) or be Italy, where you pretend its the flu until the medical infrastructure of your country is overrun. Seems like a simple choice, too bad simple choices are often complicated once profit is thrown into the mix.

Oh please. All this madness for a new flu?

"In one way we think a great deal too much of the atomic bomb. “How are we to live in an atomic age?” I am tempted to reply: “Why, as you would have lived in the sixteenth century when the plague visited London almost every year, or as you would have lived in a Viking age when raiders from Scandinavia might land and cut your throat any night; or indeed, as you are already living in an age of cancer, an age of syphilis, an age of paralysis, an age of air raids, an age of railway accidents, an age of motor accidents.”

In other words, do not let us begin by exaggerating the novelty of our situation." - C.S. Lewis

Yeah. This one is the real deal. The one we were warned about from the media to the point of exhaustion for the last two decades. But yeah, I take it back. Happy I already had a work from home set up before this craziness started.

No room for this kind of defeatist mentality on our TEAM.
